Welcome to Cow Country!

This is a site where you can obtain things written, recorded and or published by Jo Lee T Riley. It offers cowboy poetry and greeting cards. Custom cards are available by arrangement at jolee@joleetriley.com .

When you want something done a certain way the best way to get it done is do it yourself. So with my families help I became a publisher.

Being raised on a cattle ranch, writing my own cowboy poetry and taking the pictures or using those belonging to my family, there was a certain way I wanted it presented. Also when you publish yourself you can send out several copies, to friends and family and hope to get the typos corrected before it reaches the open market.

In the course of ranching and raising a family there have been a few exceptional pictures that would make neat note cards. Those are offered as well as my cowboy poetry book and a CD of my cowboy and Christian cowboy poems. Hopefully the Christian cowboy poetry book will be done for Christmas. Timothy Edward Jones is the author of "Country Conversations" (a book of conversations with some of Cuntry Music's greatest performers) and is the winner of the 2006 "Best Country Music Publication" award. He wrote the following, in an email, to a friend of mine.

Yes, I have read Jo Lee's book of cowboy prose. It's the real thing all right. I think that it paints a true picture of working ranches and goes into more depth about the day to day of a ranch hand than the cowboy movies and the western novels. I'll be glad to link her to my site.
